Deck equipment

The base charter fees quoted are for the yacht and crew. Additional expenses are the consumables, including fuel, food, liquor, marina fees, local taxes, cell phone, satellite communications, scuba diving, taxis, and any items of a personal nature. These expenses will be collected in amount of additional 30 percent to 35 percent of the base charter fee. The money for expenses is collected with the final payment a month prior to the charter, hence the name Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). The APA is forwarded to the Captain and is used to provision and fuel the yacht prior to the guests' arrival. The Captain keeps an ongoing tally of the expenses during the charter, which the charterer can ask to see at any time. Should the entire APA not be used, the charterer will receive a refund of the difference before disembarkation. Conversely, should the APA be exceeded, the charterer will be presented with a bill for the balance.
